Windows 7 and Office 2010 Compatibility

Testing has begun for MsgSave compatibility with the new versions of Windows OS and Office.

There are a number of combinations of Office versions and OS versions to test so it will be some time before this task is complete.

Initial testing on Windows 7 (32 bit) with Office 2010 and Windows 7 (64 bit) with Office 2007 suggest that MsgSave is essentially compatible with these OS versions and Office versions except Office 2010 (64-bit). However, it will not be officially supported until testing is complete.

A new build of MsgSave for Office 2010 (64-bit) will be tested in the near future.

For anyone wishing to beta test MsgSave in these envorinments you may find it useful to know that in Office 2010 (32-bit) the MsgSave button appears under the ‘Add-Ins’ ribbon.
